Founded in 1702, Yale University is one of the oldest and most esteemed institutes of higher learning in North America.
The university holds the distinction of being the first U.S. School to award a PhD.
Yale University is located in New Haven, CT, and is comprised of three academic components: Yale College which is comprised of all undergraduate degree programs, the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, and the professional schools.
