L. Gordon Bittle Memorial Scholarship for students of California Teachers Association:

This program is applicable only for the citizen of U.S residing in California. To apply for this program, applicant must be enrolled full time in a two or four Year College, university or technical institution. This scholarship program is honored annually to the southern California Teachers Association for study in teaching.  To apply for this scholarship program the eligibility criteria is that the applicant must be a current active student of California Teachers Association. This scholarship program is not applicable for those people who are working in schools as members of CTA. The applicants must have a minimum average grade point of 3.5 in high school. California Table Grape Farm Workers Scholarship Program was formed in the year of 1985. This program has donated in scholarship funds worth $1 million. This program is open to only the table grape field workers and their family. To apply for this scholarship program the applicant must be a student of a California high school and plan to go to a California State university and must have labored in the last seasons grape harvest.
