Objective: for undergraduate studies at institutions that are accredited at the post secondary level institutes
Eligibility: The applicant must be in high school and he/she must also be residing in Maine. The applicant or the parent must also be a member or a participant of the American Legion
Other Information: The high school seniors, college students and veterans are also eligible to apply for scholarships.

2.Maine Veterans Services Dependents Educational Benefits
Objective Of The Scholarship: For Undergraduate Studies at vocational 2 and 4 year institutes the state
Eligibility Criteria For The Applicant: The applicant must be a resident of Maine and he/she must be at least 16 years and not more than 24 years old.
Additional Requirements: The applicants in the scholarship applications must render his/her proof of eligibility, proof of the disability of the veteran and the spouse must render the marriage certificate.
More Information: The applicant must be a graduate of a high school and also must be dependent of a deceased or a permanently and completely disabled veteran. The parent of the applicant or the spouse must be a resident of the state before enlistment or be a resident of Maine for at least five years before preceding the application for the scholarship.

President’s Parley Nursing Scholarship
Objective of The scholarship: for undergraduate studies at institutions that are accredited at the post secondary level institutes
Eligibility Criteria Of The Applicant: Applicant should be a state resident. The applicant must also be a descendent of a veteran or a dependent of a veteran during the first or the second world wars.
