The Northwestern University was founded at the term of eighteenth century in 1851. It’s a private institution meant to serve Northwest region. In 1853, the Northwestern University got extended when its founders bought 379-acre land near of Lake Michigan.
The campus was established and the land near it was developed. The town that developed after the university was named in the honor of John Evans one of the University`s founders.

The tuition fee for undergraduate and graduate students vary according to different schools of Northwestern University. The housing and other charges are separate from the actual registration fee. It also offers full or partial tuition refund when students wish to drop courses for military service.
