To apply for this scholarship program the applicants must reside in California. For the selection of this program the applicant must have interest in education and must reveal high academic achievement, leadership potential, depth of character and be service- oriented. The requirements of applications are essay, recommendations, and proof of eligibility. Before applying to this scholarship program the applicants must have a minimum of 3.5 GPA in high school and must be a dependent child of retired, active or decreased member of the California Teachers Association. L. Gordon Bittle Memorial Scholarship for students of California Teachers Association:
This program is applicable only for the citizen of U.S residing in California. To apply for this program, applicant must be enrolled full time in a two or four Year College, university or technical institution. This scholarship program is honored annually to the southern California Teachers Association for study in teaching. To apply for this scholarship program the eligibility criteria is that the applicant must be a current active student of California Teachers Association. This scholarship program is not applicable for those people who are working in schools as members of CTA. The applicants must have a minimum average grade point of 3.5 in high school. This program is open to only the table grape field workers and their family.
