The following are some of the popular Vermont scholarships that are being offered to students that are residents of the state of Vermont who apply for scholarships:
1. Vermont Incentive Program
Objective: For full time Undergraduate Studies in institutions in the USA
Eligibility: The applicant must be a US citizen and a permanent resident of Vermont to apply for scholarship applications.
Requirements: Proof of eligibility and FAFSA
Application Deadline: 31st March
Other Requirements: The applicant must not have a bachelor’s degree and the residents of Vermont that have attended the Vermont College of Medicine or those students that have enrolled in Doctor of Veterinary Science Programs are also eligible
Scholarship Amount: $500-$10,000

2.American Legion Vermont
Objective: For full time Undergraduate Studies in post secondary institutions in the USA
Selection Basis: Applicant must be a resident of Vermont and also a high school senior. The applicant must be a citizen of the USA.
Eligibility: The applicant must be a senior at the Vermont Secondary School or a senior from an adjacent state whose parents are legal state residents or a senior from any adjacent state attending school
Scholarship Amount: $500-$1500

3. American Legion Eagle Scout Of The Year Scholarship
Objective: For Full Time Undergraduate Studies institutions
Eligibility: Applicant or the parent must be a member or a participant of the Boy Scouts of America Eagle Scouts. The applicant must be a male and he should be at least 15 years of age and not more than 18 years resident of Vermont. He/she should be enrolled in a high school
Scholarship Amount: $1000
Deadline For The Application: March 1st
More Information: The applicant must be a registered member and active member of the Boy Scout Troop, Explorer Post or Varsity Scout.

4. Dr James L. Lawson Memorial Scholarship
Objective: For Full Time Undergraduate Studies Only held in undergraduate and graduate in a 4 year or graduate institutions in the US , designated institutions or institutions in New York or England.
Eligibility: The applicant must be residing in Vermont, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Maine, Hampshire or Massachusetts
Other Requirements: Applicant must be an amateur radio operator who is holding a general class license or higher. The major may be in other fields that are listed. Applicants that are high school seniors can apply.
Scholarship Amount: $ 500
