1. Robert C Byrd Scholarship Program
Objective: For full time freshman Studies at vocational institutions that are eligible 2-year and 4 year institutions in the USA.
Eligibility: The applicant must be a permanent resident of the state, a citizen of the US, and also be a high school senior
Requirements: transcript, nomination by high school, score of SAT and ACT, and proof of eligibility
Scholarship Amount: $1,500
Application Deadline: 1st March
Other Requirements: The applicant must for the scholarship programs apply via the counselor of the high school

2.West Virginia Underwood Smith Teacher Scholarship
Objective: For Full Time junior, senior or graduate Studies at 4 year post graduate institutes in the US
Selection Basis: Applicant must be a US citizen and be a permanent resident of West Virginia
Eligibility: Essay and the proof of eligibility
Other Additional Information: The undergraduate applicants must have a GPA score of 3.25 cumulative, and the graduate students must also have a top rank in the top ten percent in the class, or they must have a GPA score of 3.5
Scholarship Amount: $ 5000

3.Ruth Ann Johnson Scholarship
Eligibility: Applicant must be a resident of West Virginia and also demonstrate excellent academic record. The applicant should also have a GPA score of 2.5 and attend a 2 or 4 year college or university.

4.West Virginia War Orphans Educational Assistance
Objective: For Full Time Undergraduate, graduate and non-degree Studies in the US
Eligibility: Applicant must be a resident of West Virginia and should be of the minimum age of 16 years and not more than 25 years. The applicant must also be a dependent of a deceased veteran who had served the Army, Air Force, Marines, National Guard, Coast Guard or Reserves. The parent of the applicant must be a veteran who had been killed while on duty or has expired on account of illness or injury that resulted from serving in the forces.
Requirements: The applicant needs to show the proof of eligibility
Scholarship Amount: Full Tuition
More Information: The above scholarship waivers the registration and the tuition fees for those applicants that are attending a school in the state of West Virginia.
