Objective of The scholarship:   For the full time undergraduate or even post-Graduates with certificate studies at some 4 year or other graduate institutions.

 

Eligibility Criteria Of The Applicant:  For the residents of Kansas pursuing teaching careers and have to teach in tough areas to fill discipline for the underserved area of this state of Kansas. Applicant should be enrolled full time at the two or four Year College or university and also be a resident of Kansas who is studying in the state.

Chapter 52 – Wichita Scholarship

 

Objective Of The Scholarship: For the undergraduate or graduate studies at an accredited 2 year, 4 year or the graduate institution in the United States. There are designated institutions such as Oklahoma, Kansas or Missouri institutions.

Eligibility Criteria of the Applicant: Applicant must be the citizen of United States, and a permanent resident or Canadian resident.

Additional information: The primary preference known to the grandchildren, children, or other relatives of the recent SME Wichita Chapter 52 members. Second preference is given to the residents of Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma. The third preference is rightly given to the applicants who are attending the colleges or universities in Kansas with a minimum 2.5 GPA.

Kansas Ethnic Minority Scholarship

 

Objective Of The Scholarship: This is designed to help those who are economically needy and academically spirited and students who are basically recognized as the members of any of the ethnic or racial groups

 

Eligibility Criteria for the Applicant: Scholarship is for full time undergraduate studies at a 2 or 4 year designated postsecondary college or university. Applicant has to be an Alaska native, Hispanic American, African American or American Indian. Applicant must be a resident of Kansas.

 

Additional information:  The minimum educational requirements include the ACT score of 21 or the SAT score of 990, increasing GPA of 3.0, High school grade in upper 33%, and achievement of Kansas Scholars Curriculum, collection by the National Merit

 

Corporation in any of the categories.
